Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing payroll processes, supporting human resource functions, and ensuring compliance with benefit administration and audits. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong background in payroll and HR operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of 70-100 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the payroll service provider to maintain efficient and compliant payroll operations.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including 401k plans and other programs.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit-related inquiries.
  • Utilize accounting software systems to track and manage payroll and HR-related data.
  • Perform human resource administrative tasks, including updating employee records and maintaining compliance standards.
  • Work with human resources management systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Handle payroll adjustments and resolve discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Provide support in the management of automated payroll systems.
  • Assist with operational tasks related to vacation management software. Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems and automated payroll tools.
  • Strong knowledge of 401k and other benefit administration processes.
  • Familiarity with human resources management systems and related software.
  • Proven experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
