Our client, a leading organization in the finance sector, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the HR department supporting the finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Assist with processing payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
Maintain payroll records by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
What’s Needed?
Prefer a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in payroll software (Workday, ADP, Equifax, etc.) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
