Position Summary:
The Payroll Clerk is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a bi-weekly payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (i.
e. payroll, accounting)
Education:
- High school graduate
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to respond adequately to changing priorities
- Ability to assign importance level to open items and prioritize accordingly
- Highly organized
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with office technology (i.e. computer, scanner)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
- Ability to learn new computer software quickly (previous payroll software experience a plus)
