This position conducts work related to preparation, processing,and auditing of payroll. The work requires advanced knowledgegained from a prolonged course of specialized instructions,experience, and expertise. The position includes work requiringconsistent exercise of discretion and independent judgement withrespect to matters of significance. Responsibilities
- Reviewemails received from projects. Balance hours, deductions andpayments submitted. Communicate discrepancies to project payrollcontacts and assist in resolving issues.
- Load interface filesreceived from the projects; resolve errors by collaborating withproject payroll contacts.
- Provide excellent customer service tointernal and client’s employees by monitoring the GreenvillePayroll email inbox, researching and responding to inquiriestimely.
- Prepare SAP and Excel reports, based on existingschedule, and ad hoc.
- Is attentive to detail, accuracy andcommitted to excellence and quality.
- Ensure compliance withSarbanes Oxley (SOX) standards.
- Maintain compliance with allapplicable policies, procedures, and standards.
- Adhere to andsupport client’s Health, Safety, & Environmental Policies
- Otherduties as assigned.
3 years of experience working as a PayrollAnalyst/Payroll Technician or similar role. Bachelor’s degree inaccounting or relevant field. Proficiency in Excel; creatingreports with pivot tables, macros, and VLOOKUP. Must have stronganalytical, reporting, and critical thinking skills to identifypayroll-related issues and compliance errors. Familiarity withpayroll policies and tax regulations Requires strong discretion andindependent judgement. SAP system knowledge a plus Must be able towork closely with our cohesive team and internal and externalcustomers in a professional manner.
