  • Heavy Equipment Rental, Sales, and Support Services Job Duties & Responsibilities Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.

; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Verifies timekeeping data (time sheets and approvals); reviewing time sheets for accuracy. May assist with payroll functions including processing and fixing processing errors. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department. Conducts or assists with new hire orientation. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment and organization-wide meetings. Generates HR-related reports as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Recommended Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), payroll management, and similar computer applications. Requirements of the Position Education & Certification

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. Recommended Work Experience
  • Prior office experience preferred. Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Working Conditions
  • Work from designated space in the Orangeburg Corporate Office required daily; Occasional local and regional travel to external meetings and functions; Periodic travel to project sites as required; Potential work outside normal business hours.
