Payroll Specialist I Join the Family As the Payroll Specialist, you would be responsible for supporting the Payroll Director and Senior Director of Human Resources & Payroll in payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with federal, state and local laws. What you bring to this role: Bring your passion and expertise A desire to help others become the best they can be while managing a healthy work/life balance. Ability to be a team member and thought leader. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or closely related field or payroll certification preferred. Intermediate/Advanced experience in all MS Office applications Knowledge of wage and hour laws and multi-state jurisdiction; payroll tax calculations and payroll software. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to accurately deal with detailed and complex information in a confidential manner Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
