REQUIREMENTS

SPECIALIST I
- 1 year of payroll experience / education is acceptable
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of payroll laws.
- Experience creating complex spreadsheets including utilization of report writing tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll tax withholding processing functions and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
PAYROLL
SPECIALIST I
- Taking inbound and making outbound phone calls
- Analyze, audit, and process multi-state payroll
- Submitting ticket reqs
- Submitting and assisting with time entry requests.
- Performing direct deposit questions and check requests.
- Adhere to state guidelines for remitting and releasing court ordered payments.
- Research employee wages and deduction history
- Sourcing inbound checks
- Maintain appropriate supporting backup for system and employees’ updates and adjustments in company systems.
- Creates and formats analytical reports and prepares correspondence to internal and external departments using Microsoft Office tools.
