Must Have:
5+ years experience working in Payroll Tax
- strong understanding of Gross Pay and Net Pay
Experience with refunds, amend returns, filing state taxes
Multi state tax experience, large company with many states across the country (20 states)
Understanding of Reciprocity - if you work in one state and live in another
- locals tax experience
Microsoft skill - excel, not afraid of pivot tables and v lookups
- data analysis
Plusses:
UKG experience (very efficient and user-friendly system) , or experience with workday, ADP, any other 3rd party provider.
