Job Description The purpose of this job is to lead, train, and motivate the payroll team, ensure correct wage and hour compliance, maintain and update payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies including those for international payroll. Responsible for supporting and processing weekly payroll for 30k team members Responsible for supporting payroll taxes and financials Review and approve terminations and process final payments in accordance with state and provincial laws Partner with Benefits, Legal, HR, and Compensation to process all legal settlements, deferred compensation, commissions, and bonuses Manage processes through metric evaluation and audits for payroll transactions Enter labor reclasses, voids, and pull backs Process void, manual, and adjustment payroll cycles weekly Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors Prepare reports for upper management Collaborate with other departments to create/revamp processes in order to improve efficiencies Supports cross-functional activities and work sessions Ensure all activities are in compliance with US and Canada laws Responsible for process documentation of all standard operating procedures for payroll Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or related field or payroll certification required Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred Minimum five years’ experience in payroll or related area required Workday experience as a plus Additional Information Nation-wide Medical Plan/Dental/Vision 401(k) and Flexible Spending Accounts Employee Fuel Discount Adoption Assistance Tuition Reimbursement Onsite Gym and Cafeteria Weekly Pay All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
