Calhoun, TN Description RemX has an immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist to join the payroll team of a great company located in Calhoun, TN This position is responsible for managing the payroll process and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist Ensure accuracy of hours worked, deductions and benefits
Maintain new hire records, terminations and changes in status. Enter payroll and reconcile to the General Ledger
Prepare reports Answer questions and inquiries from employees regarding payroll processing
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll processing. Qualifications for the
Payroll Specialist:
1+ years of recent payroll experience
Working knowledge of payroll software such as Paychex, QuickBooks, Workday, ADP or Kronos
Detail oriented, organized, analytical
Strong verbal and written communication skills
