Job Description
Description We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will oversee comprehensive payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This position requires an experienced individual who is detail-oriented and skilled in managing full-cycle payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, addressing discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues.
- Implement and maintain payroll systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct audits to verify payroll data and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Handle payroll adjustments, including deductions, reimbursements, and other modifications.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on payroll processes and best practices. Requirements
- Proven experience in managing full-cycle payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile complex payroll data.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in payroll management (e.
