$27.43 – $28.84 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities In this position you will be responsible for: Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees accurately and efficiently. Ensure timely and accurate calculation of wages, deductions, benefits, and taxes. Manage and process garnishments, levies, and other wage assignments. Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrity. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings, benefits statements, and other required documentation. Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with HR and benefits departments to ensure accurate employee data and benefit deductions. Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll. Contribute to the development and improvement of payroll processes and procedures. Experience with Oracle payroll software is highly desirable.
