The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and addressing any payroll-related issues that arise. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, contributing to employee satisfaction and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Payroll processing:
Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring correct calculations for wages, taxes, and deductions.
Compliance management:
Ensure all payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Issue resolution:
Address and resolve any payroll-related issues, including discrepancies, employee inquiries, and tax-related concerns.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities as required.
System maintenance:
Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and security. Qualifications Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role. Strong understanding of payroll processes, laws, and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field. Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks.
