These include but not limited to Exception Item Processing, Account Maintenance, account opening, maintenance review and verifies compliance with the Bank’s various policies. This position will work closely with all customer facing employees and with customers. Duties and Responsibilities Processing all activities related to exception items for the bank. Processing all activities related to file maintenance and review of deposit, savings and COD accounts. Serves as a subject matter expert for all account opening policies and procedures. Partner with all operational and client facing employees to resolve deposit account related issues and ensure compliance with established bank policy. Processing all activities related to correction entries on deposit, savings and COD accounts. Provide ongoing processing support for the Bank’s various technology options. Processing all activities related to handling returned mail and account coding. Verify and mail daily notices delivered from IT. Review addresses changes and maintenance of system file records. Demonstrate professional behavior that supports team efforts and enhances team behavior, performance, and productivity. All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned, supporting the Bank’s mission and strategic objectives. Qualifications 1+ year experience in supporting deposit activities. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting preferred but not required. Knowledge of deposit processes, documentation, operations, and basic accounting is preferred. Excellent oral, written, telephone, organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Team player with high attention to detail and able to work independently. Comfortable using bank systems to research and assist customers. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of accounting and or documentation processes; Proficiency with MS Office applications. Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Working Conditions Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions. Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions. Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a computer monitor for extended periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements. Ability to lift up to 15lbs. Ability to effectively discern information and formulate appropriate action. Ability to reach, squat, bend, and manually manipulate standard office equipment. Ability to drive to various locations. Ability to think critically and provide appropriate solutions.
