out of 5 stars Coral Springs, FL 33071 Summary The Member Relations Specialist I provides outstanding service to our members by promoting Credit Union products and services in support of member’s needs and credit union sales plan, handling cash transactions efficiently and responding to member inquiries. The incumbent will work hard to build the relationship between the member and PriorityONE Credit Union. Essential Duties and Responsibilities MRS I 1. Provide prompt, professional service that meets the service standards defined by PriorityONE Credit Union. 2. Open, maintain and close all Credit Union products in a timely manner. 3. Handle cash and check deposits/withdrawals properly and efficiently. 4. Issue Cashier’s Checks and Money Orders upon request. 5. Process Visa Cash Advances. 6. Perform basic member service transactions-order temporary debit cards and handle check orders 7. Adhere to all Credit Union policies and procedures. 8. Balance daily teller work accurately and neatly every day 9. Assist with daily ATM, Money Order, Cashier’s Check and end of day branch balancing 10. Prepares correspondence to members in response to inquiries, transactions or products. 11. Ensures adherence with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering guidelines including Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). 12. Run OFAC checks as required by policy 13. Pursue training as required to become proficient in areas including but not limited to: Computer proficiency, Policy and Procedures, BAI, Product Knowledge, Cross Offering skills. 14. Cross offer appropriate products and services to members at every opportunity 15. Performs all functions in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. 16. May be asked to provide coverage to another branch location at times 17. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities MRS I/II-Not Applicable MRS III-The incumbent may be responsible upon request for the supervision of branch staff during absence of Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school graduate or equivalent Preferred Experience
- Previous banking/credit union experience as a Teller, MRS or related department
- Has met sales goals in retail or banking environment. Computer Skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Computer literate “a plus” (Microsoft Word and Excel).
