Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for managing the daily operations of the banking office in an effective and efficient manner. Manages banking staff and regularly performs as a universal banker who assists clients in all types of banking transactions.

Essential Functions:

Manages the successful, daily operations of the banking office to include opening/closing, daily balancing, overdraft/uncollected funds decisions, transaction/report monitoring, etc. Manages the banking staff to include goal-setting, performance measurement, mentoring, training, counseling, and compensation recommendations. Serves as a universal banker and regularly performs all types of banking services with the knowledge and capacity to support staff coverage and ensure the highest level of client service. (Includes teller transactions, account opening, and maintenance, account research, sweep accounts, remote deposit services, direct deposit, wire transfers, online banking/bill pay, ACH, etc.) Answers telephones and responds to client inquiries to achieve a long-term resolution. In all client interactions, places an emphasis on relationship building and actively participates in development of new relationships, as well as new solutions for existing clients as needs change. Develops and maintains contact with new and existing clients to enhance the client relationship and develop referrals. Partners with deposit operations to coordinate company-wide operational objectives. Ensures office is compliant with federal and state banking regulations and company-established policies and procedures. Maintains client files utilizing contact management system (Salesforce). Represents the bank at community or client functions, events, and meetings Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

A minimum of five years’ experience as a universal banker serving high net-worth clients is required A minimum of two years of management experience required, preferably within a banking environment Bachelor’s Degree preferred Strong mathematical and analytical skills required Must be proficient in

Microsoft Office:

Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Experience with FIS (bank’s core processor) a plus

Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary. Environmental Conditions . A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
