GENERAL FUNCTION
Entry into a sales position with a primaryfocus on sales development and relationship building through thepromotion of deposits, loans, fee-based services and the retentionof customers. Responsible for selling a full range ofbankingproducts and services to existing and prospective customers whileproviding specialized customer care. Utilize and promote theBranded Sales and Service process, using the prescribed tools andinteracting with the Customer/Financial ServiceRepresentatives forreferral activity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales/Goals Function:
oMaintain an awareness of the various market segments (Acquisitionand Cross Sell) and develop an understanding of how Fifth Thirdsolutions support each market. oConsistently meet or exceed sales goals for loans, deposits, andfee income, as set by management utilizing sales skills appropriatefor the Financial Center market segment. (i.e., cold calling versuscalling campaigns to an already establishedcustomer base). oOversee the complete consumer loan process following approvedguidelines. oConsistently meet or exceed brokerage referral goals as set bymanagement. oMaintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete lineof products and services offered, taking responsibility to keep upto date and request assistance for further development needs. oPromote company products and services by regularly solicitinginternal customers for expanded business and referrals, to assistin the continuing growth of the office and company. oInitiate and maintain customer contact through a variety ofmethods, including but not limited to customer interaction on theline and platform, telemarketing, and attending various seminarsand community events. oMaintain the sales environment, and actively participate inregular sales and office staff meetings, the execution of salescontests, monthly Blitzes and other motivational activities. oActively participate in the telemarketing process within thefinancial center, utilizing the marketing resources and othervarious tools. oEstablish close relationships with assigned business partners,such as Mortgage, Small Business Bankers, Business Banking Officersand Investment Executive to ensure that established goals for eachbusiness line is met. oProvide guidance to the Customer/Financial Service Representativesin the referral/sales process. #
Customer Service:
oUtilize the FNA to build thorough customer information for optimalfinancial solutions for their needs. oProvide a customer experience that is consistent across allcustomer touch points, is among the leaders in the financialservices industry in terms of customer satisfaction, loyalty, andretention and provides a differentiated experience fromotherproviders in the market place. oPromote excellent customer relations by consistently providingpremier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-doattitude, and willingness to help at all times, providingprofessional resolution of problems/issues. oEstablish a relationship with the customer base of the financialcenter through knowledge of account ownership, greeting customersby name, and exhibiting an attitude of caring. oAssist in ensuring the financial center is neat and orderly andpresentable for clients. Adhere to the Fifth Third clean deskpolicy and maintain a professional appearance. #
Bank Operations:
oOpen and maintain full range of retail accounts and services. oKeep up to date on the security controls in place to protect theoffice against criminal and fraudulent activities and unnecessaryrisk and exposure. oMay need to handle opening and/or closing procedures as a memberof the platform staff.
