Responsible for utilizing knowledge of banking products andservices to build professional relationships with customers andengaging in meaningful conversations regarding their financialneeds and goals. Promote a positive, helpful, and friendly teamenvironment and provide exceptional customer service at all timesEssential Job Functions 1. Cultivate professional relationshipswith customers, utilizing assessment tools and engaging customersin meaningful conversations to uncover needs, make appropriaterecommendations, and submit referrals to banking center teammembers or line of business partners. 2. Utilize assessment toolsto maintain detailed notes regarding customer conversations andinteractions. 3. Open and service deposit accounts. 4. Facilitateand process account transactions accurately and efficiently tominimize errors and reduce fraud. 5. Actively participate inmorning huddles, calling efforts, business development, andconstructive coaching conversations with leadership. 6. Demonstrateempathy and proactively resolve client concerns in a timely,professional, and positive manner, escalating issues to next levelof authority, as needed. 7. Collaborate effectively with line ofbusiness partners to foster teamwork, exceptional customer service,and continuous learning. 8. Actively promote teamwork, leading byexample and taking initiative to assist others. 9. Provide backupand assistance to other retail banking roles and locations, asnecessary. 10. Model and champion the Bank’s standards forexceptional customer service. 11. Enthusiastically support thebank’s values and mission. 12. Display a high degree of integrity,trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times. 13. Complete allessential training timely. 14. Adhere to all Bankpolicies, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities1. Knowledge of bank products and services (e.g., online banking,mobile banking applications, banking cards) 2. High school diploma or equivalent required;bachelor’s degree preferred 2. 1 year experience interacting withpeople and displaying excellent service skills, demonstratedthrough work, military and/or education, required 3. Basicknowledge of personal finance and household budgeting required 4.Knowledge of, experience with, and ability to explain bankproducts, online banking, mobile banking applications, bankingcards, etc. preferred 5. Experience in retail customer serviceand/or sales preferred 6. NMLS preferred (required for lendingactivities)
