Overview It is the responsibility of the Senior Banker II torepresent Middlesex Savings Bank to the public and to theircolleagues, and to promote the Bank’s core values and mission. Theyaccomplish this by focusing on the customer experience, achievementof operational excellence, achievement of performance goals, soliddecision making, and a commitment to the success of the Bank and oftheir team. The Senior Banker II promotes strong customerrelationships as follows: conducts a wide array of customertransactions; recommends products and services in conformance withestablished Bank objectives; and assists customers with questionsand problem resolution, as requested. Responsibilities CustomerExperience – Develops an understanding of customers’ needs andexpectations, and offers products and services that address thoseneeds and expectations. Develops new business by establishing andgrowing customer relationships, including utilization of businesspartners as appropriate. The Senior Banker II is proficient in allSenior Banker I requirements. In addition, they are proficient withbusiness loan closings, business deposit account analysis, complexIRA transactions and accounts, and safe deposit box maintenance,among other technical and people skills. The Senior Banker IIsupports the branch supervisors in creating the best customerexperience possible. Operational Excellence – Ensures quality andaccuracy of work. Demonstrates sound technical knowledge, includingof Bank products and services. Displays expertise with the Bank’sdigital products and is a resource for customers and otheremployees as needed. Performs branch settlement, basic recyclertroubleshooting, and branch opening and closing as needed. Staysinformed of alerts and other company communications. Acts as aresource to branch staff for operational questions and issues.

Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed compliance,security and risk protocols. Maintains proficiency in regulatorycompliance. Complies with all Bank policies including thosepertaining to confidentiality, email, and others. Performsoverrides and exceptions thoughtfully and within limits and seeksassistance as appropriate. Teamwork – Is an active part of thebranch team; identifies what needs to be done and steps in asneeded. Supports the branch supervisors in implementing Bankpolicies, procedures and initiatives. Acts as a resource for otherteam members and supports branch supervisors in creating a positivework environment. Credibility – Follows through on tasks andassignments, manages time and priorities effectively anddemonstrates flexibility. Expresses ideas well and clearly; usesprofessional written, verbal and electronic communications.

Supports branch, division and the Bank’s strategic goals. Mayperform the functions of a Senior Banker III or Assistant BranchManager in absence of said manager; this includes opening and orclosing the branch facility and being the banker in charge on anygiven day. Performs the functions of a Banker as necessary andappropriate. Decision Making – Makes decisions dependably andconsistently in alignment with the values and standards of theBank. Draws on knowledge, experience and insights and recommendssolutions. Is proficient at recognizing and preventing fraud andacts as a resource for branch staff in recognizing and preventingfraud. Miscellaneous – Assists the Branch Manager and AssistantBranch Manager in the caretaking of the branch facilities. Performsfunctions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide thehighest level of service and responsiveness to customers andco-workers. Performs other related and unrelated duties asrequired. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or itsequivalent is Required Some college Work Experience 2 years ofBanker experience or similar customer service related positionwithin banking is Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Mustpossess knowledge of basic math principles and be able to performbasic mathematical procedures. Demonstrated customer service,sales, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Must possess strong attention to detail. Must possess at leastintermediate technology skills, including knowledge of MicrosoftOffice. Must be able to work extended and weekend hours. Schedulingand work location flexibility required. Must be able to sit forextended periods of time. Must be able to stand for extendedperiods of time and lift 25 pounds Licenses and Certifications Mustattain designation of Notary Public within 6 months RequiredPI273243837
