Banking Full Job Description Description:
Performs daily activities of the operations department related to debit cards, incoming & outgoing wire transfers, ACH processing, and online & mobile banking. Responsible for cash management operations, including ACH origination, remote deposit capture, Positive Pay, internet banking, and wire transfer processing. Maintain a strong understanding of internal bank policies, network rules, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or complex issues related to payment transactions, including exception processing initiatives. Process and monitor ACH disputes, returns, and NOCs. Monitor and report on payment-related volumes and trends. Work closely with internal teams, including Accounting, Branch Banking, and IT, to resolve issues. Assist with payment related implementations and projects. Participate in required and ongoing training and education to stay current with emerging payment channels, industry regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements:
Minimum education level of high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred. At least 3-5 years of banking experience is preferred, with emphasis on retail and / or deposit operations. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong, working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to banks and financial institutions, including NACHA, BSA, AML, etc. Self-starter with ability to work well on a team and independently. Exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
