SUMMARY:
The Relationship Banker III is responsible for opening accounts for customers, preparing new account paperwork and requesting the required identification as well as taking consumer loan applications. This position is also responsible for conducting teller transactions and cash vault transactions in an accurate and timely manner. The incumbent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while following Bank policies and procedures, maintaining essential controls and mitigating risk. The incumbent is also responsible for helping customers achieve their financial goals through the sales and servicing of bank products and services. The incumbent works with the branch team to achieve their team scorecard goals and is responsible for achieving their own individual scorecard goals.

Description:
25% Responsible for opening accounts for customers, preparing new account paperwork and requesting the required identification, as well as taking consumer loan applications. 20% Responsible for identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services. 10% Responsible for handling customer transactions and helping with account-related inquiries. Responsible for accurately maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vault as well as reconciling any discrepancies. 10% Responsible for assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up as well as handling night depository deposits and other operational duties as assigned. 10% Responsible for consistently demonstrating the Bank’s Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service. 10% Mitigate losses through work accuracy and adherence with Bank policies and procedures, internal controls and regulatory guidelines more fully described within the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual. 10% Responsible for achieving individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned. 5% Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED with two years of banking experience and three years of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Basic math and computer skills. High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy. Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills. Must maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor. Must complete teller training classes. Must complete product knowledge, account maintenance, account opening and consumer lending training classes. Ability to pass a background check.
