$31.1K – $36K a year 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Information security High school diploma or GED Communication skills Banking Entry level Time management Full Job Description Position Purpose The Member Advisor provides service to our members by handling routine tasks, such as opening accounts, processing payments, issuing ATM cards, and handling withdrawals. In addition to the Member Advisor will respond to member requests and make recommendations about REV’s products and services, maintain, and balance cash supplies, and handle any necessary file maintenance. This role is accountable to complete all assigned compliance and information security training and comply with the credit union’s policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Duties & Responsibilities Ordering and issuing checks Compiling necessary paperwork for direct deposit, payrolls, allotments, and automatic transfers Assisting with stop payments and balancing checkbooks; refunding NSF fees, check order fees, safe deposit box fees Completing immigration letters and pre-authorized draft forms; completing Forgery Affidavits and forwards to appropriate department. Handling all transactions pertaining to IRA accounts Posting and balancing payroll deposits from groups within our field of membership Demonstrating PC Banking and/or Bill Payment to each new member. Achieving the monthly sales volume by cross selling the necessary products and services to all members. Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned

Skills & Qualifications Education/Certification & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of banking experience preferred

Skills/Abilities:

Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills Basic knowledge of credit union loan products Compliance with all governing regulations, especially the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC and the Patriot Act requirements. Understands and complies with all state and federal regulations and laws
