Southern Region Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs all duties of paying and receiving teller, assists with balancing vault, and performs teller capture duties. Must be capable of utilizing various electronic devices to set up new accounts; must be familiar with various electronic delivery channels to coach customers in use of online banking and mobile applications. Practices sales and service strategies designed to retain existing relationships and enable growth of new relationships and actively participates in follow-up strategies. Responsible for promotion of bank sales and customer onboarding process through CRM. Stays abreast of changes/updates to bank products and policies ensuring the accuracy of information provided to customers. Assists customers in a professional manner and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program. Will work Saturdays on a rotating basis; will travel to other offices within region as schedule dictates; will be involved in local community events.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous teller and/or new accounts experience a plus. Ten-key calculator, cash handling and customer service experience is helpful. Must have the ability to handle a heavy workflow of customers and deal with them in a courteous and professional manner in person or by phone. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
