In thePhysician Advisor role, you will both lead and promote processesfor patients to receive medically necessary and high-quality carethroughout the continuum of care, stay abreast of professional bestpractices and community standards of care, assist administration bylimiting financial risks associated with denials and extendedlength of stays.
This is a challenging role, and although we areseeking experienced candidates, we will entertain physicians with adocumented history of success who have a desire and drive toexcel.
The Physician Advisor will have responsibility for two of ourAlabama acute care hospitals. Shelby Baptist Medical Center is a252-bed hospital located in Alabaster, Alabama, just south ofBirmingham.
