  • 105K base salary | Hartford, CT | Onsite | Series 7 and 66 We’re partnering with a respected, growing financial firm that’s hiring a Retirement Plan Consultant to support and manage a book of 401(k) business.

In this client-facing role, you’ll work closely with plan sponsors, advisors, and third-party administrators to ensure plan compliance, educate participants, and deliver high-touch service. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong relationship skills and technical knowledge of qualified plans who’s looking to grow within a team-oriented firm.

What You’ll Do:

Serve as a trusted advisor to plan sponsors and participants for a portfolio of 401(k) plans. Coordinate with TPAs and internal advisors on plan design, compliance, and renewals. Track key plan deadlines and ensure delivery of required notices (Safe Harbor, eligibility, etc.). Assist clients with annual retirement plan filing requirements. Support enrollment and education efforts virtually and on-site. Stay up to date with

ERISA, IRS/DOL

regulations, and industry trends.

What They’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience with 401(k) plans, plan operations, or retirement plan consulting. Active Series 7 and 66 (or 65/63) licenses

  • required.

Strong understanding of

ERISA, IRS/DOL

regulations, and plan sponsor responsibilities. Excellent client service and communication skills. Ability to explain complex topics in clear, simple terms.
