Job Description:

This job is responsible forproviding comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clientsto help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilitiesinclude triaging client leads, making referrals to businesspartners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting withclients to review financial and investment goals, building afinancial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Jobexpectations include applying and expanding knowledge by completingrequired licenses and trainings. This position is subject to SAFEAct registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Actrequirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgageoriginations must register with the federal registry system andremain in good standing. Since this position requires SAFE Actregistration, employees are required to register and to submit tothe required SAFE Act background check and registration process.

Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may resultin disciplinary action up to and includingtermination.

Responsibilities

  • Works with clients to plan theirshort and long-term financial goals by building a financial planwith brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds,annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommendsbanking and investments strategies that align with client financialgoals and needs
  • Triages client requests and makes referrals toappropriate internal service providers based on client needs andasset thresholds
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of dailyactivities
  • Identifies and engages potential new clients throughreferrals or financial center clientele
  • Provides coaching andfeedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needsand potential product services recommendedRequiredQualifications
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieuof 66) licenses. If you do not currently hold the 66 but haveeither a 63 or 65, an offer can be extended with the condition thata passing score is received for the missing series within 60days
  • Has at least one year experience in the investmentsindustry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge ofinvestment products and services
  • Has at least one yearexperience working in the financial service industry and/or a salesenvironment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Sets andaccomplishes goals, achieving whatever you put your mind to

DesiredQualifications

  • Strong computer skills with an ability tomultitask in a demanding environment
  • At least three years’experience working in the financial service industry and/or a salesenvironment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Achievedadditional professional designations such as Certified FinancialPlanner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor(CRPC)
  • Obtained your insurance licenses.
