Data and analytics:
We offer comprehensive solutions for the set up and implementation of robust, data-driven impact measurement and management systems for investors, funders and impact enterprises, helping drive the tools and analytics required to amplify portfolio impact. We also manage several initiatives for third parties, including the Outcomes Accelerator and the Outcomes Finance Alliance. About the job We are looking for impressive and highly motivated individuals with a passion for international development and sustainable finance. We are hiring for several positions at the entry and early mid-career level to support our sustainable finance practice as well as our work on outcomes-based finance through the Outcomes Accelerator. Successful candidates will be able to develop and apply a comprehensive skill set that span strategy, finance, data science and policy as they rotate across advisory, intermediation, project management and investment assignments. Job responsibilities, depending on assignments, may include: Build financial models, perform financial analysis and due diligence, and develop new innovative financing products. Draft funding memos and term sheets and pitch decks for blended-finance and impact-investment deals. Design key performance indicators, evaluation frameworks and process efficiency analyses for outcomes-based finance transactions. Conduct market scans, policy analyses and literature reviews to inform client strategies. Prepare board-level pitch decks, analytical briefs and thought-leadership pieces. Analyze and screen innovative finance proposals submitted through the Outcomes Accelerator.
Support business-development efforts:
draft proposals, respond to RFPs and help shape new product lines. Provide individualized support to impact enterprises to strengthen operational processes, performance management and information systems, monitoring and evaluation processes, and other systems. Coordinate workshops, trainings and high-level convenings for the Outcomes Accelerator and Outcomes Finance Alliance. Manage project work plans, timelines and stakeholder communications in collaboration with interdisciplinary teammates. Candidate Profile and Qualifications We are looking for impressive candidates that bring right skills and mindset that enhance our work and our organizational culture. Early-career professional with two or more years in top management consulting firm, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, multilateral development bank (e.g. IFC or IDB) or a similar analytical environment. Advanced degree in business, finance, economics, data science, public policy or a related discipline Quantitative athlete who is comfortable running Excel models, applying statistical concepts and/or manipulating large datasets. Superb communicator with extremely polished written and verbal English, who is able to succinctly and persuasively articulate complex concepts; Professional-level Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plus. Experience working with developing countries and emerging markets with a demonstrated interest in social and environmental topics; Doer and self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, international contexts and values good humor under pressure, with limited oversight or direction. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, or similar process efficiency frameworks; and/or familiarity with change management models considered a plus. Familiarity and experience with outcomes-based finance, blended finance, biodiversity credits, and thematic and sustainability-linked bonds considered a plus.
