Judson Group has been retained by a leading privately-held wealth management firm with over $5B in AUM in the search for a Market Leader – RIA to oversee the client experience and drive strategic growth for its Winter Park office. This high-visibility role offers the rare opportunity to step into a well-established book of ultra-high-net-worth relationships and lead a talented team as local Partners transition from daily operations. With approximately a quarter of the firm’s clients served by this location, the Market Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the firm’s Florida presence-managing client relationships, spearheading business development, mentoring advisory talent, and serving as the public face of the firm in the community. What You’ll Be Doing:
Act as the face of the firm in Winter Park, strengthening its local brand and leading market presence. Cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, centers of influence, and community leaders to drive client retention and strategic growth. Lead client acquisition and engagement efforts through networking, referrals, and active participation in community initiatives. Oversee and guide a team of Relationship Managers and Associate Wealth Advisors in the Florida market. Deliver customized, high-touch wealth planning and investment guidance in coordination with Portfolio Managers and planning professionals. Facilitate formal client review meetings, ensuring proactive, personalized communication and exceptional service delivery. Partner with internal leadership to identify opportunities for practice growth, operational improvements, and client experience enhancements.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of wealth management experience with a proven ability to lead and grow relationships in the UHNW space. Demonstrated track record of client retention, acquisition, and team leadership in a high-touch advisory environment. Deep understanding of investment principles and planning strategies across complex wealth management scenarios. Series 65/66, Series 7, CFP® or CFA® designation required. A visionary leadership mindset with strength in people development, strategy, operations, and client experience. Passion for the community and a natural ability to build trust and influence at the highest levels.
