GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION A

fast-growing RIA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Planning Consultant to join our expanding team. This role involves facilitating training sessions to advisors, with some travel to branch offices, ensuring that training initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting, financial planning, and training, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Approximately 20% of travel is required.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Facilitation:

Conduct training sessions over video conference and at various branch offices to educate the advisor team on training initiatives, including practice management, financial planning, growth strategies, and plan implementation.

Curriculum Development:

Develop and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive activities, to ensure comprehensive understanding of financial planning strategies leading to improved organic growth rates.

Needs Assessment:

Collaborate with market leaders to perform skills gap analyses to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with leadership team to understand regional challenges and customize training to address specific needs.

Feedback Collection:

Gather feedback from attendees to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

Reporting:

Determine KPI’s and prepare detailed reports on training outcomes, effectiveness, and regional planning implementation progress.

Relationship Management:

Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with advisors to drive priorities and key initiatives.

EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s degree and CFP®.is required. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial services, with an emphasis on the RIA business. Experience as an Advisor that served clients and built a book of business Excellent communication and presentation skills. High degree of professionalism in performing all duties. Proficiency in eMoney. Exceptional skills in coaching and consulting and practice management. Expertise in delivering goals-based financial planning, financial planning concepts and strategies, and plan implementation. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience designing and delivering training programs Experience with designing skill gap assessments that deliver insights for targeted development opportunities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with e-learning and virtual training platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Critical thinking skills to assess clients’ current financial position and evolving needs or requirements.
