The Team The SubsidiariesReporting team is part of a large Reporting team and is responsiblefor overseeing our various non-life subsidiaries legal entitiesreporting and audits. Team members are energized todeliver timely and accurate financial reporting data by workingclosely with internal stakeholders and external auditors. The Impact As an InvestmentSubsidiaries Reporting Accountant, you will work with Head ofSubsidiaries Reporting and be responsible for the delivery ofsubsidiaries audited financial statements; supporting separateaccount reporting and filings; collaborate with internal andexternal customers; and execute on financial reporting controls andprocess improvement. To accomplish this, you will: Perform fluxanalysis for subsidiaries on quarterly basis especially forinvestment related assets Proactively coordinate subsidiariesreporting and audits by facilitating audit meetings, collaboratingwith other business areas to provide support documents to externalauditors, and tracking the completion and efficiency of each auditResponsible for preparation, review and submission of subsidiariesfinancial reports and footnote disclosures Closely monitor thesubsidiaries’ materiality, capital transactions, unbooked entries,management fees, and audit adjustments for reconciliation Timelyset up new subsidiary templates and reports in SAP queries and theCDM reporting system Ensure that newly adopted GAAP accountingchanges are properly and timely reflected in the subsidiary reportsPrepare the BOD materials for subsidiaries by working closely withthe financial controllership team Assist in reviewing annualregulatory separate account reporting including NAIC and SECfilings Work closely with the off-shore resources by providingassistance and supervision Continue identifying and implementingprocess improvement opportunities for subsidiary and separateaccount reporting Work in a fast paced and agile work environmentto meet or exceed deadline. The Minimum Qualifications BS inaccounting or finance; MBA or equivalent preferred 5 years ofexperience in financial analysis and reporting Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) qualification preferred Significant knowledge andexperience of US GAAP and statutory reporting Strong oral andwritten communication skills Demonstrate strong accountability andcommitment Other competencies required include customer focus,change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building ∈fluencing. The Preferred Qualifications Strong multi-taskingskills and ability to adapt to change Ability to proactively takeownership of assignments and drive them through to completionIn-depth knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory reporting Advancedknowledge of Excel and PowerPoint BS in accounting or finance; MBAor equivalent preferred
