In the Accelerated Path to Management Program, you’ll startoff as a financial professional, learning how to sell our products,build client relationships, and meet specific requirements beforetransitioning into a management role. You’ll then undergo asix-month intensive training program designed to prime you forsuccess as a manager. You will use that experience to understandhow to recruit and coach others to success.

Firsthand experience as a financial professionalYou’ll learnfirsthand about a financial professional’s role and day-to-day workby working as a financial professional during the first year ofyour career journey with New York Life. We will provide you withextensive training, access to digital tools, and a comprehensiveproduct suite.

Training and ResourcesYou will receive top-notchtraining that will give you an understanding and appreciation forthe strength and value of New York Life. Beyond this training andsupport, New York Life will provide access to the resources youneed to succeed day-to-day, including experts on hand to answeryour questions and a suite of digital sales, prospecting, andmarketing tools that will help you attract and retain clients withweb, social, and email content.

Product SolutionsYou will learnabout our robust products and services that can help clientsachieve their financial goals. Together with its subsidiaries, NewYork Life provides a range of competitive insurance and financialproducts, including life insurance, annuities, long-term careinsurance, disability income insurance, and investment productssuch as mutual funds through our broker-dealer, NYLIFE SecuritiesLLC (member of FINRA and SIPC), a Licensed Insurance Agency. Youwill be required to hold securities licenses and FINRAregistrations and affiliate with NYLIFE Securities as a registeredrepresentative before you can offer investment products.

Phase 2:

Your transition to Associate PartnerAfter meeting specificrequirements during the first 12 months as a financialprofessional, you will enter a specialized six-month AssociatePartner training program. We’ll help you to lead and build yourteam of financial professionals. Throughout your career journeywith New York Life, you’ll continue to have opportunities to growand be promoted to increasingly senior levels of management.

How wewill compensate youWhen you begin with New York Life as a financialprofessional, your income will be commission-based. The salary range for an Associate Partner is$60,000-$150,000 (in California and Washington, the minimum salaryis $66,560 and $67,725, respectively), plus you will be eligiblefor certain bonuses and other incentives based on the performanceof agents in your unit, including additional compensation relatedto the agents you recruit and develop.
