ATTORNEY – HEALTHCARE REIMBURSEMENT EXPERIENCE

Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Attorney to join their Healthcare Practice Group. This role focuses on advising healthcare clients on billing and reimbursement compliance, regulatory matters, and fraud and abuse laws.

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active bar admission in the applicable state.
10+ years of experience advising clients or engaging in policymaking related to healthcare billing and reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare.
Deep knowledge of federal fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act.
Experience guiding healthcare entities such as hospitals, physician groups, academic medical centers (AMCs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and home health agencies on regulatory compliance.
Strong background in structuring business relationships to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Experience working with private payors is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel clients on Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare reimbursement requirements.
Advise on fraud and abuse compliance, including structuring transactions to align with Stark, Anti-Kickback, and False Claims Act regulations.
Assist healthcare providers in navigating enrollment, claims submissions, and billing compliance.
Provide strategic guidance on business relationships and transactions involving healthcare entities.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address healthcare regulatory and compliance issues.
