GENERAL FUNCTION
Accountable for overallproduction, coaching, training, and developing a team of licensedretail bankers. May handle large book of clients with more complexfinancial profiles. Accountable for sales of full rangeofsecuritiesproducts, and achieve targeted securities fee incomegoals within assigned territory. Design and customize coachingsessions to train bankers on investment strategies and productsolutions. Conduct solo and joint appointments with bankersandassistthem in efficiently identifying potential clients andclosing the sales. Maintain presence within the bank to developstrong relationships and credibility with internal and externalclients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieving sales goals while serving the clients# bestinterests.
- Plan and conduct individual and group coaching sessions withretail bank employees.
- Develop and conduct client meetings to review existing accountsand close sales individually and jointly with licensedbankers.
- Handle daily client needs and problems and prioritize anddelegate tasks to resolve.
- Post-appointment follow up to maintain relationships and developreferrals from existing client base.
- Manage sales planning for self and for team to drive sales, andachieve designated goals and financial results.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all financial productsthrough self-study, periodicals, and appropriatecoursework.
- Ability to delegate tasks and follow-through.
- Prepare necessary internal reports for salestracking.
- Coordinate and communicate with team on daily basis to insureaccurate completion of accountabilities.
- Conduct internal and external seminars.
- Prioritize client needs and introduce services of other FifthThird Bank employees, i.e. loans, estate planning,deposits.
- Serves as a coach and mentor for licensed bankemployees.
- Thoroughly organize, share and prepare licensed bankers withtools and skills needed to be successful.
- Guide and promote progress toward established goals forteam.
- Recognize and reward achievement of goals.
