Financial Counselor Job Summary:

Talent Software Services is insearch of an Financial Counselor for a contract position inMorristown, NJ. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chancefor a long-term extension.

PrimaryResponsibilities/Accountabilities:

Evaluates the patient’s abilityto pay for services and creates payment arrangements via cash,check, credit card, or payment plan as appropriate. Utilizes theEpic estimator tool to provide estimates and collect up-frontpayments, deductibles, and copays. Interviews patients at bedside,on the phone, or in the office to determine eligibility forfinancial assistance. Completes and approves or submits completedapplications for charity care, Medicaid, and 501R. Obtainsinsurance information, checks eligibility for active coverage, andupdates patient accounts accordingly. Answers and returns phonecalls and performs other general office tasks. Other duties asassigned.
