Full Job DescriptionHelp conduct the operation of a financial advisory practice with an independent franchisee of Ameriprise Financial. Assist financial advisor to help clients work toward achieving their financial goals. We are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor who possesses a service mentality, strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset and wants to deliver a premium client experience.

Key Responsibilities/DutiesService existing client basePerform case analysis and develop recommendations, solutions and changes in alignment with a client’s risk tolerance, goals and timeframe.

Conduct and participate in client meetings to present recommendations/deliver adviceExecute trades to align with portfolios on behalf of clientsIdentify clients to engage in planning relationshipsLeverage natural market to drive new client acquisitionPrepare planning discussions and deliverables for client meetingsAnswer questions and provide information to clients, if requested, as it relates to servicing their accountsMonitor economy, markets, and world events to determine any required strategic rebalancingOngoing communication with clients including email and phone callsQualifications and RequirementsHas the following licenses: Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 + 65), Life and HealthMinimum of 10 years of experience in financial services is requiredFinancial designation preferred, not required (CFP, APMA, CIMA, CFA, CHFC)Sales experience is a plusAbility to recommend suitable investment products and servicesAbility to meet with clients and present planning strategiesHighest level of interpersonal skillsInitiative in business developmentExisting book of business preferred, not requiredEntrepreneurial perspective and desire to grow the businessAbility to source prospective clientsSuccess at planning and managing resources (time, people, budget) to run optimal practiceExperience with CRM systems, financial platforms, and collaboration tools.

Compensation and Benefits$70,000•120,000 starting base salary. Ability for higher starting base commensurate with experience and size of existing book of business if you are transitioning clients.
