Job Description

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
Verification of client’s insurance information. Upon admission to our program, determines what clients’ medical assistance status is. Identifies which clients need to apply and follows through with entire application process. Transmit client’s 3rd party payer information to pharmacy, lab and other outside providers for credits and/or adjustments.
Technical Competencies :
Obtain accurate insurance information throughout the entire Pyramid system; demonstrate conduct in keeping with Pyramid ethical standards; participate in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills. Medical terminology and computer experience necessary. Must be able to comprehend the pertinent instructions for complying with state and federal guidelines. Office organization, time management and problem-solving skills; diplomacy, flexibility and telephone etiquette; excellent business English skills and familiarity with business formats and principles for correspondence and files; basic math skills; excellent typing skills; attention to detail.
Education, Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in Medical Office preferred.
