School Year Functional Purpose:
The TEAMS Advisor is responsible for organizing, supervising, and preparing students for participation in the Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science (TEAMS) competition. This role involves recruiting interested students, coordinating practice sessions, providing guidance on problem-solving strategies and STEM concepts, and managing the logistics of competition registration and participation. The advisor fosters an environment that promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for STEM fields. The Advisor must attend local, state, and national competitions whenever students qualify. The Board of Education reserves the right to fill the position as outlined above.
