Analyst, Quantitative Strategies Group 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Philadelphia, PA 19103 • Hybrid work This Philadelphia-based position begins in July 2025 and offers a hybrid work arrangement. PFM’s Quantitative Strategies Group (the “QSG”) comprises a group of dedicated professionals whose mission is to develop proactive strategies and tools for all of PFM’s business practices. Through the use of advanced financial analysis and commercial and proprietary software, the QSG develops customized solutions to meet the individual quantitative needs of all of our clients. Our extensive quantitative capabilities allow us to provide services which address the full scope of strategic and operational considerations, ranging from capital financing strategies, to strategic planning and budgeting, to investment management strategies.

PFM. RESPONSIBILITIES
Quantitative Analysis and Financial Modeling:
Working with senior team members to create qualitative and quantitative analyses that support various projects and transactions, many of which involve the creation and use of customized financial models and spreadsheets
Presentations and Reporting:
Preparing and delivering presentations, reports and summaries that outline financial scenarios and recommendations to clients
Marketing and Business Development Support:
Contributing to and reviewing financial, legal, and marketing/proposal documents for all transactions and projects to which you are assigned
Client Service Exposure:
Gaining direct and meaningful exposure to a broad variety of clients and transactions across all the entities that PFM serves
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree conferred by June 15, 2025 Strong background in both computer science and finance Interest in finance, consulting and/or investment management Analytical and financial modeling experience (advanced Excel skills and VBA or programming exposure preferred) Other qualifications: Exceptional communication and presentation skills Strong work ethic with a proactive, flexible attitude, and desire to pitch in wherever needed Developed problem solving skills and a solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges Ability to dig into the details but also see the greater context behind your work Outstanding teamwork and project execution skills with multitasking capability Unwavering integrity and ethics
CERTIFICATION
Passage of Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) exam for Series 50 certification within six (6) months of training inception

COMPENSATION

The anticipated base pay for this role is $69,500 – $71,500. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
