We manage multiple investment styles that leverage our coverage of companies in the micro-to mid•capitalization equity range, as well as companies that issue non-investment grade debt. Penn Capital is seeking a professional to work in its Investment Services group. The Investment Services position interacts across the organization and will support daily operations and client service activities of the firm.
Description :
The individual will be responsible for supporting the daily client service and operations functions of the firm and will work closely with internal and external sales teams; portfolio management and trading teams; and other members of the Investment Services team.
Responsibilities:
Management of firm’s external middle and back office service providers Client reporting•monthly and quarterly standard and custom reporting Investment consultant database management Client Onboarding Client cash flow activity monitoring and posting Facilitating client/advisor requests for internal and external sales teams Updating procedure documentation and seeking process improvement Additional operations and client service responsibilities depending on experience
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
2-3 years’ experience in investment management industry•operations experience or client service experience required Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication skills Highly developed organizational skills•ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting Knowledge of financial markets and economic concepts Flexible in terms of daily schedule/responsibilities
Desired Systems Knowledge and Experience:
