In this role, you’ll collaborate across business and tech teams to streamline procurement-to-pay systems in oil and gas operations, while driving strategic solutions that improve efficiency and compliance. What you’ll do… What you’ll do Maintain cross-functional relationships by collaborating with business and technology partners to identify and resolve complex business process and data issues, particularly within procurement-to-pay systems in oil and gas operations. Provide strategic solutions across multiple programs by researching industry best practices, offering subject matter expertise, and integrating business, member, and technology needs into process and application design. Ensure alignment with organizational strategy by identifying opportunities for process improvement, assessing program effectiveness, and escalating critical issues to senior leadership. Execute accounting controls to safeguard company assets, including SOX documentation, segregation of duties, and compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements related to fuel operations. Manage third-party software vendors such as SAP, Implico, DTN, Platts, and OPIS, including contract oversight and performance evaluation. Drive business plans and projects by identifying operational needs, setting performance standards, allocating resources, and adapting plans to ensure successful execution. Lead and develop associates by mentoring, assigning responsibilities, fostering a team-based environment, and promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning. Promote company values and ethics by ensuring compliance with policies, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in community outreach. Evaluate and improve business initiatives by consulting with stakeholders, applying feedback, and enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. What you’ll bring Cross-functional collaboration : Proven experience working across multiple business areas; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Problem-solving mindset : Naturally curious, solution-oriented, and driven to fix issues proactively. Strong financial and accounting acumen : Deep understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance. Technical expertise : Experience with SAP and oil and gas replenishment systems (procure-to-pay); familiarity with fuel systems is a plus. Vendor management : Ability to manage third-party software providers and contracts effectively. Leadership potential : Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and teams, with a growth trajectory toward future leadership roles.
