SUMMARY The Client Pricing Analyst is primarily responsible for the developing innovative pricing arrangements and client budgets. This role involves analyzing various pricing models and monitoring them against budgets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain creative pricing models to assess the profitability of new and existing client fee arrangements. Partner with attorneys, marketing personnel and department management to draft financial terms and pricing responses for client proposals and other pitch materials. Provide profitability, realization and other analyses to partners and department management. Monitor the performance of pricing arrangements against established goals. Research billing history and compile intelligence to identify legal trends to develop efficiencies. Track client proposals and awarded work. Act as liaison between partners, pricing staff, billing analysts and e-billing staff. Set up and maintain negotiated rates and other fee arrangement metrics into our accounting system.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS
in related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 4 + years of experience in a client pricing/financial reporting role required. Law firm experience preferred. This role is fully remote but must reside in a commutable distance to a firm office.
COMPETENCIES
Understanding of accounting systems, procedures and principles, with a solid working knowledge of client pricing standards, alternative fee arrangements, and client presentations. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, plus ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Strong technical skills, including high level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications required. Experience with Aderant/CMS, SQL or Clocktimizer a plus.

The target annual salary range for this role is currently $92,000 – $107,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.

The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity.
