Job Summary Responsible for analyzing, negotiating, and managing the pricing of laboratory test kits. This role ensures that test kits are sourced cost-effectively while maintaining high-quality standards. The analyst will optimize pricing strategies, and ensure that all pricing activities align with company goals and budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities:

Analyze current pricing for tests to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry benchmarks. Develop strong understanding of tests profitability to optimize cost without compromising quality. Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and industry changes to make data-driven pricing decisions. Participate in negotiation of contracts, pricing terms, and delivery schedules to ensure favorable agreements for Access Medical Labs. Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, volume discounts, and process improvements. Regularly report on pricing trends and cost structures to management. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing agreements, and contracts. Understand the effectiveness of various reagents and supplies.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing analysis, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare or laboratory industry. Strong background in vendor management and contract negotiation. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and pricing data. Proficient in pricing software and tools. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively. Master in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and pricing software is a plus. Experience working in a laboratory or healthcare environment. Familiarity with supply chain management for medical test kits and laboratory supplies.
