The Pricing Manager will be responsible for providing high-level pricing, financial and strategic support to practice groups, working specifically with the Finance & Rate Approval Chairs. The Pricing Manager will also be responsible for supporting various other strategic and financial projects while accomplishing these and other critical functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for analyzing factors that drive the economic performance of matters, including the development of pricing models for multiple practice areas. Perform analysis in support of pricing decisions and support the firm’s efforts to drive effective project management. Apply organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. Serves as a leader or mentor to staff, including assigning or monitoring work and providing direction to accomplish goals. Maintain confidential information related to client and matter information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of market research resources and financial reporting. Strong working knowledge of various information technology systems is required. Ability and willingness to perform detailed analyses independently. Advanced knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts and ability to apply this knowledge to large volumes of data to reach meaningful conclusions. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of BI concepts required; knowledge of Tableau preferred. Proven ability to identify and analyze issues and problems and to work towards solutions Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and sound political acumen, with professional persistence. Ability to deal with all levels of legal, management, and support staff in a highly effective and professional manner. Ability to effectively persuade for compliance with programs or necessary information sharing. Advanced knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts and ability to apply this knowledge to large volumes of data to reach meaningful conclusions Strong technical orientation, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with an aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies as appropriate. Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered. Minimum ten (10) years of in-depth knowledge of pricing and budgeting at AmLaw 200 law firm. Minimum of four (4) years experience managing direct reports and teams. Proven record of excellent financial modeling skills, analytical and ability to comprehend and clearly communicate data. Hiring Salary Range:
