Job Description

The Deposit Product Pricing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing deposit pricing strategies to support the bank’s overall strategic objectives. This role plays a critical part in optimizing the bank’s deposit portfolio, balancing profitability and deposit funding needs. The ideal candidate must possess a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, market understanding and attention to detail. •

Key Responsibilities:

•+ Design, recommend and implement deposit pricing strategies through detailed analytics and supporting documentation to meet company-wide deposit growth goals – this includes developing pricing recommendations and presenting those for review and approval by governing committee. + Track performance of deposit balance trends (vs plan) bank-wide and across business lines. + Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to provide insights and pricing recommendations. + Support Product team with any regularly scheduled or ad-hoc pricing analysis requests. + Produce regular reporting and presentations for senior leadership on pricing effectiveness, forecasts, and any ad-hoc analysis requests. + Implement approved pricing strategies i.e. building interest plans, changing rates, updating internal and external facing pricing materials, and drafting and sending related communications. + Collaborate with Product, Finance, Business Lines, Marketing and Compliance to implement deposit pricing strategies. + Partner with Technology and Operations to execute pricing changes and optimize pricing configurations. + Responsible for developing and/or maintaining all controls and documentation, policies, procedures related to Pricing. + Participate in audits, risk assessments, and policy reviews as needed. •

Qualifications:

•+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field. + 8+ years of experience in product management, Pricing, business analysis, or a related role in banking or financial services. + Deep understanding of pricing theory, price elasticity, margin optimization and competitive benchmarking. + Demonstrated experience in developing and managing product pricing strategy across consumer and commercial segments. + Familiarity with ALCO processes and P&L analysis to assess profitability impact of pricing changes. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in pricing optimization. + Experience in BI extraction tools such as SQL is a must. Expert-level Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and modeling. + Experience in creating dynamic, visually intuitive dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau. + Exceptional ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and strategic pricing recommendations tailored for executive audiences. Proven experience developing high-impact PowerPoint presentations. + Proven ability to navigate and influence cross-functional environments. + Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
