Amentum seeks Pricing Analyst II to develop cost/price proposals under general supervision from senior pricing personnel. This is a remote-telework position (you must live within the USA to work remote) ; a candidate local to an Amentum HQ facility (Chantilly, VA, Fort Worth, TX, or Las Vegas, NV) or with the ability to travel is preferred. US citizenship is required. Principal Accountabilities + Prepares cost/price volume responses for simple to medium complexity proposals + Supports senior pricing personnel in the development of complex cost/price proposals. + Prepares cost models, cost narratives and any other cost/price volume requirements + Ensures compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures + Performs quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements + Supports senior pricing personnel with proposal strategies for achieving company objectives + Interfaces with Operations, Business Development and Functional Support groups to obtain/develop data necessary for developing prices or other components of a cost/price volume. Knowledge and Skills + Understanding of proposal development and strategy that includes contract cost and pricing principles that translates efforts in acquiring new and follow-on business + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to review and write pricing narrative responses + Knowledge of Federal Acquisition regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) + Working knowledge of U.S. Government structure and agency acquisition procedures and policies for identifying and developing potential business opportunities + Working knowledge of the components of basis of estimates and bills of materials + Advanced Excel and mathematical skills. Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline + Three (3) years’ experience in cost proposal preparation or cost proposal development; relevant finance experience may be considered for
