Job Description
E-Mobility Optimization Manager As an experienced project manager, the eMobility Optimization Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of public charging deployments across North America. Reporting to the Sr Manager, of Network Development and Performance, this role ensures the successful coordination of project timelines, cost management, and quality assurance while driving the development and implementation of competitive pricing strategies. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional project turnover, facilitate key stakeholder collaboration, and coordinate internal and external teams to meet project milestones and operational goals. A key part of this role to leverage data analytics and market intelligence to refine pricing models, monitor charger performance, and provide leadership with timely reporting on network health and project progress. In addition to overseeing the projects and pricing optimization, the role will occasionally support charger commissioning activities, store staff training, and customer service operations. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, this position is essential in shaping the long-term success of our EV charging network.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute the EV charging network expansion strategy in alignment with Couche-Tard & Circle K’s broader business objectives and emerging market opportunities. Collaborate with Business Units to identify and prioritize optimal locations for new charging stations, coordinating with construction and permitting teams to ensure efficient deployment. Lead end-to-end project management of various eMobility initiatives, ensuring timely execution, budget compliance, and effective cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Design and tailor go-to-market strategies for expansion into new regions, incorporating local demand, regulatory environments, and infrastructure readiness. Establish, refine, and monitor eMobility pricing strategies using data-driven insights to achieve optimal balance between affordability, profitability, and competitiveness. Analyze key network performance metrics—uptime, usage, revenue—to optimize charger reliability and return on investment. Implement forecasting tools and models to manage network capacity, identify growth opportunities, and support resource planning. Develop and oversee financial tracking tools to monitor project expenditures and overall network profitability. Stay in touch of EV industry trends, competitive pricing strategies, customer behavior, and market shifts to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Deliver regular project updates, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements across operations, pricing, and deployment strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree Business administration or other related fields 3-5 years of experience in project management and operations Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Power BI and other operational/project management tools. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines. Enthusiastic and self-motivated to contribute to the growth of a fast-moving, dynamic business. Ability to travel 10% (Potentially International)
