Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements: Reviews daily market conditions and competitor price variables, while managing volume and margin relationships to ensure optimization of fuel profit strategy. Produces daily, weekly, and monthly informational reports and insures data integrity with respect to cost, retails, volume, and margin in all historical comparisons. Assist in producing accurate supply, volume, and profit forecasts. Manages terminal, carrier, and product allocation set limits in all proprietary and third party host software systems. Produces in depth market analysis and historical comparative data to insure optimal cost strategies are implemented. Ensures best practices and compliance with legal issues. Maintain all aspects of Fuel Pricing Software. Ensure that product costs are validated and updated in system daily. Work collaboratively with others throughout the organization to integrate fuel operating plans into the achievement of corporate goals and strategies. BU. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business, math, accounting or related discipline preferred. A minimum of 8-12 years’ experience in combined retail operations and pricing analysis. Must possess excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple activities and deliverables. Highly literate in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access required. Strong understanding of information system processes. Experience in Kalibrate (Fuel pricing software), SAP, DTN, Telepoint (Fuel inventory management), MarketView (Globalview), PDI Enterprise and MTS preferred. Knowledge of OPIS, PLATTS, ARGUS, as well as pricing calculations based on these indices. Experience in the fields of fuel distribution, fuel pricing, and fuel transportation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leadership with regards to motivation, development, teamwork, relationship building and change. Use of independent judgment in regard to laws relevant to particular situations. Ability to efficiently and effectively work in a fast-paced and team environment. C-store or related Retailing experience preferred.
