Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A) Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is key to helping our client develop and implement a robust pricing strategy that aligns with their business goals and market demands. Ideal candidates will thrive in collaborative environments and bring expertise in financial analysis, pricing models, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to analyze current pricing models and align strategies with business objectives.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive pricing framework that incorporates market trends, competitive analysis, and revenue goals.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to evaluate profitability, forecast outcomes, and support pricing adjustments.
  • Develop advanced pricing scenarios using tools and data to refine strategies and assess market impact.
  • Provide insights into cost structures, operational efficiency, and market positioning to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Partner with teams across sales, marketing, product, and operations to communicate and roll out the new pricing model.
  • Create detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
  • Offer actionable recommendations to optimize pricing strategies based on ongoing market and stakeholder feedback. Requirements
  • Proven experience in FP& A, pricing strategy, or financial modeling within detail-oriented services or technology industries.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data mining techniques and EPM solutions.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting processes, and capital management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Experience in managing annual budgets and aligning business unit goals with financial strategies.
  • Familiarity with forecasting techniques and market analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
