Job Description

Senior Factory Finance Estimator Company:

The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Factory Finance Estimator to support Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position offers relocation assistance. This exciting opportunity involves joining Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) to oversee the development of high-value estimates, encompassing highly complex or unique technical requirements, throughout the design, build, and support stages of the program. The role also entails overseeing business case development and analyzing Return on Investment (ROI).

Position Responsibilities:

Leads development of complex estimates and prices from complex technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program Leads development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques Leads business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal and substantiates estimates and pricing Leads development of complex estimating and pricing methods Develops complex pricing models Leads the evaluation and development of complex business cases Leads and performs complex analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.) Determines database requirements and identifies new data sources Leads the development/application/maintenance of unique and non-unique rates and factors for estimating Leads compliance activities, policy and procedure development, deployment of new systems/tools, training development/delivery and internal audits Coordinates high complex/value business proposals Evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal, substantiates estimates and pricing and assembles price proposals Develops unique/complex estimating and pricing methods Leads unique/highly complex pricing models Consults and oversees the evaluation and development of innovative business cases Devises long term data analytics strategy while performing complex analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.) Coordinates database requirement efforts and identifies new sources of data Leads the development/application/maintenance of rates and factors for estimating, pricing, and proposals Oversees the establishment and implementation of new rate structures and factors Consults compliance efforts, policy and procedure development, training, new system/tool development/deployment and designs/conducts internal audits This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Currently have a Bachelor’s degree or higher 3+ years of experience with developing business cases and performing risk analysis 3+ years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing function 3+ years of experience with business case analysis (problem identification, quantitative modeling and problem solving) 3+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with external customer and across multiple functions including Finance, Supplier Management, and technical disciplines Ability to proactively apply problem solving skills Works well independently, and as part of a team Self-motivated with time management skills to meet tight schedules with first time quality Ability to learn new systems & tools, estimating techniques, and gain program knowledge in a dynamic environment
