Responsibilities:

Organize and prioritize RFP requests in CRM, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. Manage and execute the entire bid cycle, including RFP processes, awards, and rate contract negotiations. Compile customer bid data and leverage analytical tools to determine optimal pricing strategies. Utilize advanced reporting and analytical skills to interpret data and inform decision-making. Manage day-to-day pricing activities, including troubleshooting, exception handling, and conducting ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, such as detailed customer account studies, cost modeling, and database management. Analyze market trends and company cost structures to develop pricing strategies that align with business growth and profitability objectives. Apply knowledge of the company’s bid-rate structure to complete pricing submissions within tight deadlines. Research and report on pricing discrepancies. Monitor the status of outstanding proposals and manage multiple rounds of pricing updates. Update the database with new and revised contract rate terms for both spot and fixed-term pricing, and maintain detailed records of agreements. Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports on account performance and identify trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field. 2+ years of pricing experience in the transportation or logistics industry. Advanced proficiency in Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables), Power BI, Tableau, or other data warehousing tools. Profieciency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, R). Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize results and produce reports using advanced Excel functions. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Conflict resolution skills.
